'We Are Fighting Bin Laden's Al-Qaida In Iraq'

Monday, July 23, 2007

Can someone tell the Defeat-ocrats what a fine job our military is doing for our country, and the world?

Al-Qaeda faces rebellion from the ranks - Times Online

I am feeling optimistic today. Let us meditate on this:

We are turning the corner in Iraq. We are learning from our mistakes. Miscalculations are part of any military conflict. We will identify the true enemies and thugs of free men, free markets and a peaceful world. Our mission is necessary, true, and noble. Our men and women aiding the mission are incredible, amazing heroes.

Our enemies will fail of their own pernicious, cancerous ideology. Their plans, conceived in and by evil, can only end in ultimate failure.

Terrorists, in all their manifestations, in all corners of the world, will be defeated. The money that allows them to flourish will dry up, when the states that sponsor them collapse. The evil states will topple, either of their own ineptitude and foolish plans. or we, the leaders of the Free World, will help facilitate their demise. RIGHT is on our side.
Success and Victory will obliterate their misguided and fatalistic world-view.

Patience. Persistence. Commitment. Compassion. Belief.

We will WIN.

Freedom and Prosperity and Peace will reign in the Middle East, and spread throughout the world.

Defeat-o-crats will fail in their attempts to force us to lose and pull out of this troubled area of the world, that NEEDS our help, our beacon of LIGHT.

Quindlen: Hillary Should Make Barack Her Running Mate - Newsweek Anna Quindlen - MSNBC.com

What have I been saying (predicting) since Obama met with Soros in the Hamptons last summer/fall? ... Obama has been a wonderful fundraiser ... for Hillary. $36 mil in the bank, plus Hill's $34 mil?

This Avi Lewis guys makes me sick

CBC News: On the Map with Avi Lewis - Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Mr. Lewis ridicules "American" cliches, but he espouses all the cliches and lies of the Left. He can shove his "stolen" election mantra right up his @$$. He has no idea what he is talking about. Ms. Hirsi is a giant, compared to this feeble, a-hem, "man." What a brilliant defender of America. Canadians actually watch this dude? Lewis seethes with hatred for America and American ideals...

Unpleasant Reminders from Pakistan ...

Ceding the Fall of Pakistan:

"The Center for Security Policy's Salim Mansur raised the uncomfortable issue of a potential nuclear alliance between Iran and Pakistan. Few in the public governmental forum care to delve into the possible scenario of a fallen Pakistan suddenly a nuclear and military ally of the Islamic Republic of Iran. But such a scenario is very real, and one which few care to delve into for long. It’s not a pleasant exercise.

· Pakistan has nuclear weapons.
· It is also the current home to al-Qaeda and the Taliban, the epicenter of the global jihadiyun movement.
· The Taliban has recently taken to seeking its enemies by reportedly deploying suicide bomber teams to distant shores, including Germany, Canada, the United States and Great Britain.
· Al-Qaeda is considered to have surpassed its pre-9/11 capabilities since migrating to its sanctuaries in Pakistan in 2001-2002.
· The Taliban-al-Qaeda alliance fields an armed fighter force of over 200,000 men on Pakistani soil.
· The alliance has been steadily gaining territory ceded to them by Pervez Musharraf, as he has been incapable of defeating or even stemming the rising tide of Islamists inching ever closer to Islamabad.
· As Mansur states bluntly, Musharraf “has run the country for over seven years and his welcome has run out” among the general population, not just the Taliban-al-Qaeda alliance.
· And, again, Pakistan has nuclear weapons. "

Gingrich Profile in Washington Post

Ever the Speaker - washingtonpost.com: "'The presidency is a minor post on the scale of change I'm describing,' Gingrich, still the history professor, declares with a dismissive wave.

'You get to appoint a lot of ambassadors. It isn't 50 percent, it's 5 percent of the whole process. I want to make sure by the time we're done that in 511,000 elective positions' -- apparently the whole of U.S. officialdom -- 'there are people who understand the 21st century, understand American civilization, and have fundamentally changed government at all levels.'

He adds with a puckish grin: 'And if, in that process, I become president -- that's fine.'"
